Hallow’s Eve

We met up with Mabel, Con and Maj at this hawker centre beside the Esplanade. Mabel was in S’pore for a week to spend some time with her beau, Con.

  After dinner, and with Con and I having to spend what seemed like an eternity listening to these 3 ladies yak the the night away, we decided to check out DXO - this nearby bar/club which got my attention earlier. It had a sign which advertised 2 litres of beer for only $19.80! This was cheap for S’pore! I was even happier to find out that aside from beer, you could also choose from a selection of 2 litres of Whiskey Coke, Bourbon Coke or Vodka Sprite.

And so, after 2 months in the so-called Garden City, I was finally drunk again.
